We came across this place while driving around Springfield trying to find ANY hotel with a "smoking room". (I'm still human. I want a hot shower and comfortable bed just like everyone else!). The young man at the front desk was very pleasant. Rooms are dated, but clean. I don't care about chipped paint or scratches on the furniture. It has exactly what is needed....hot shower and (very) comfortable bed. Bonus? It was the cheapest hotel we had come across! Some people have complained about the parking lot and "shady characters"....the lot is well lit, and you can see "shady characters" even at the Marriott nowadays! I never feared for my safety. If you are expecting the Marriott, go there. If you want a cheap, smoking room for a good night's sleep, you got it!
I personally wouldn't stay there again,beds very uncomfortable burn holes in blankets.just not a very clean place

Actually decent for the price u pay. Cold air, big bed with a TV and a shower. Clean enough to feel comfortable and also you get a 20 dollar deposit back upon a room check after exiting.
